Round 28, the final round of the series took place at the Homestead Miami Speedway in Florida.
The championship was on the line so the pressure was on.
The 10 lap practice session went well as I was fastest with a time of 37.794.
Qualifying did not go too well as I had to be content with a 18th place grid slot with a time of 37.650.
In the race I managed to climb through the field to lead before pitting on lap 41 for fuel.
I drove back though the field to 18th before receiving the dreaded black flag on lap 58 which after pitting dropped me a lap behind.
It was then that I got lucky as a few laps after rejoining the race there was a yellow flag caution period. I turned out to be the lucky dog and got my lap back!
I drove back though the field again to clinch an unlikely win and the championship!!!!!!
My fastest lap of the race was a 37.676.
