The race weekend started well as I was fastest straight out of the box in practice with a time of 33.771 after the mandatory 10 laps.
I was a tad quicker in qualifying but still managed to claim pole position with a time of 33.715.
The 90 lap race was not another fuel disaster for me. From the dropping of the flag I led for 42 laps before pitting for fuel. Eight laps later there was a caution period which got me back on the lead lap as the "lucky dog". When the others finally pitted for fuel I was too far ahead to be caught. Another win.
My best lap of the race was a 33.604 which was my fastest of the race weekend.
I led 68 of the 90 laps.
I was 1st in the standings 60 points ahead - the Championship looming!.
